If there was ever a puzzle to bring with you on a deserted island, this would be Kubiya’s top choice - you’ll need all the free time you can get!
Generation Lock is a sequential puzzle that, unlike most locks, requires no key! Instead, there are eight sliding, metal pins that can only be moved horizontally in a sequential order.
Be warned, there are a minimum of 341,718,750 moves required to open the lock! As the name implies, it might take a generation (or two) to open the lock. Assuming you work around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and average 2 seconds per move - the puzzle would still take 21.6 years to solve.
