The Nine Men's Morris Strategy Game has a grid of 24 holes, with 9 pegs assigned to each player. Players try to create "mills": meaning 3 of the same colored pegs lined up in a row. Yes, just like in tic-tac-toe. The game has two phases, first players placing their pegs on the board, and second when players are moving on the board. Creating a mill allows you to remove one of your opponent’s pegs from the board. After the players have placed all their pegs on the board, the second phase begins.
