The dazzling beauty and fine craftsmanship of this Puzzle Box are incomparable, even amongst the stiff competition from other Japanese Puzzle Boxes. The natural wood is decorated with a golden pattern on the lid, and natural dark wood on the sides. All colors complement each other beautifully and are made from different wood grains inlaid into the surface. The objective, like many puzzle boxes, is to reach the inner chamber in 11 steps by investigating the sliding wood panels lurking beneath the surface.
