Chinese Checkers Strategy Board Game
This favorite strategy board game was invented in Germany in 1892 under the name "Stern-Halma" as a variation of the older American game Halma. (yap! despite its name, the game is not a variation of checkers, nor did it originate in China or any part of Asia).
Chinese Checkers is a strategy board game which can be played by two, three, four, or six people, playing individually or in groups. The game rules are simple, so even young children can play and have fun. The old rules still apply in this beautifully handmade game, you always want to be the first to race all of your pegs across the hexagram-shaped board into "home" - the opposite corner of your starting corner, using single-step moves or moves that jump over other pieces.
Our Chinese Checkers board game designed to folds into half to hold all playing pieces internally when you are not playing. The star shape and the stimulating colors make this board game a perfect centerpiece for any table.
